Blumenzeit, "Flower time", is a clock especially designed for the customers of La Roche, Basel to mark the centenary of the company. The concept is a bouquet of steel flowers, whose long stalks are set in the base so that top sway slightly. Thus the traditionally solid fixed clock is re-interpreted as a mobile sculpture, a friendly presence to be admired and explored to stimulate daydreaming.
